I had almost a week off at home for the holidays which was so amazing. Home for me is about a 6 hr drive north from Waterloo. I was really looking forward to doing some makeup (and threading) for friends and family, so I made sure to pack my lovely train case (featured below) full of all my makeup/threading goodies.
I also couldn't wait for Christmas day as my sisters and I had a few surprises up our sleeves this year. I brought home makeup to give them as well and was looking forward to teaching them a few tricks I've picked up. Christmas eve we exchanged our 'sister gifts' and I received a tripod for filming tutorials which I can't wait to use. So stay tuned, and if you have any ideas I'd love to hear from you!
Speaking of weddings, if you are getting married this year - or know someone who is please pass along my information. I would love to help them look and feel their best on their special day! I already have a few weddings booked for this year - and I am thrilled!
Makeup application is all about practicality. Yes. I own a trunk of makeup...BUT, and there is a but, the makeup I use everyday can fit into a very tiny makeup bag. Only keep the things you need. Have a few fun eye shadows in there to spice things up, but you don't need a trunk. Trust me. Three brushes, and a few key items is all it takes to make you look and feel great all year long.
That's all for now.
