This is the BB cream that I spoke about in my previous post.
As I mentioned, I like to try before I buy. I had heard a lot about BB (blemish balm) creams so I thought I would try out a couple brands. I tried several different brands from Dior to Smashbox's CC Cream (correcting cream), but still Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier was the clear winner for me, and at a fraction of the cost!
Let me tell you why.
The Loreal BB cream is light. It feels gritty when you apply it, goes on white, and as you rub it into your skin it colour matches and mattifies to give you an even coverage. I usually give it a bit of time to set before I apply powder.
Also, if you're thinking of going out to purchase this makeup gem please remember to try it. Ask for a sample at Shoppers and try it out (I wear the light shade). What works for me might not work for you, so be sure to try it.
One last thing. I found that the price varied with the Loreal BB cream quite a bit depending on where you shopped. On the shelves at Shoppers it rang in closer to the $20 mark, Target the $15 dollar mark, and Walmart being the best option at just under $10 dollars! So keep that in mind.
If you do get a chance to try it out, let me know what you think in the comments section below.
